Beavis and Butt-head Are Back!

The rumors are true! Although the announcement is not so new anymore, I had to share the story myself. The socially inept, pre-pubescent, rock star loving, TV obsessed, animated duo are coming back to the small screen. Since their departure from MTV in 1997, Beavis and Butt-head’s cult following has been long awaiting a return. I’m guilty!

For anyone that missed the bored, perverted and obnoxious characters the first time, you now have your chance to get your fill. Beavis and Butt-head is set to air in summer 2011 with the same animation style and at the same age as when they left us. If you follow pop culture and still possess the same sense of humor you had back in high school, then you might have a summer show on your schedule. I know I will be tuning in. 

So much has happened in the past 14 years, I can’t imagine who will be the target of Beavis and Butt-head’s rants. Ideas from fans are already circulating. Talk about a fun job in animation! Hey, after a few months of Escape Studios’ courses, you never know...
