AutoCAD for the Mac

Autodesk have released AutoCAD for the Mac after its announcement back in August.

It will be interesting to see what the take up is on the Mac platform. We can only assume they have done their homework with customer demand...

For those out there wanting to try the Mac version, there is a 30 day evaluation which you can grab here. The tech specs for the Mac can be found here.

More interesting for the educators and students is the free 3 year access. Yes, that's right, free of charge for 3 years! Or as long as you have left at university (you need to use your .ac email account). You can sign up for the free download here. You'll need to register first of course.
