Autism Speaks: 3D Interactive Installation

Autism Speaks: 3D Interactive Installation

I stumbled across this link the other day and was compelled by the clever use of gaming technology to raise awareness about autism.

I myself have a child with learning difficulties and seeing this made me wonder not only how the technology could be used to describe other conditions, but also how it could be used for children to interact with. The use of ubiquitous gaming technology to fulfill a learning need seems like a vehicle to really engage kids, especially boys.

Let me know what you think and if there are any adaptations that spring to mind.
