Getting started
Join the community
It’s free to join the Escape Studios eLearning network and we recommend you do so, whether you’re planning to participate in distance learning online or join us in person for a full time course. There’s a stack of free resources and you can talk to other students about their studies and experiences at Escape Studios.
Simply choose a username, fill out your profile and confirm your email address and you’re good to go.
You’ll also find us on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Vimeo, where we have very active communities.
Classroom study
Pre-registration for full-time and evening courses at Escape Studios USA is now open. For more information or to apply email or call 855-WE-ARE-CG. You can also reserve your space on one of our forthcoming open house days here.
Online study
Once you’ve registered you can purchase a course online. When you buy an online course, you have unlimited 24/7 access to your chosen course assets for 12 months. It’s simple.
Selecting the right course
Some tutorials are designed to be completed in sequence and one or two are designed for artists with previous experience. Before you apply, make sure you’ve chosen the right course to meet your goals and level of ability.
We recommend that you download the course factsheet PDF document so you can check to see if the course you want to take is right for you. You can find these factsheets in the Course Downloads section of the course detail page. If you have any questions about a course, or you’re unsure which is the best course for you, just get in touch.
Entry requirements
Most of our 3D design courses do not have entry requirements. However, as 3D artists, you will need to be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. Adobe’s website is an excellent resource if you need to brush up on your skills or try your local bookstore for one of the many published guides that are available.
Language
Our classroom and online tutorials are all hosted in English so a fluent understanding of spoken and written English is essential.
