On Thursday 29th March, Escape Studios are hosting an event at the Barbican Centre that will discuss the art of 3d visualisation. Joined by four industry speakers this is an opportunity to discover how professionals in film and other media create stunning as well as captivating animated visuals. The event is aimed at anyone working in the business of 3d visualisation, whether that’s in architecture, design, engineering or media and entertainment. We would like to invite you all to this exclusive event as we expose the creative side of this visual form.
We have a great line up of speakers for this event, that we hope you can learn and be inspired by. Each speaker will discuss their own processes when creating detailed and realistic CG environments or models. All four speakers share something in common, which is that each project under discussion was created using Autodesk’s 3ds Max software. We will also have Autodesk’s very own 3ds Max guru, Jamie Gwilliam, give a presentation on essential 3ds Max workflows and an exclusive technology preview.
Speakers at this event include:
- Jamie Gwilliam (3D solutions Engineer, Autodesk UK), giving a presentation on some essential 3ds Max workflows as well as an exclusive technology preview.
- Ximo Peris (Creative Director, Crystal CG), presenting his work on the promotion for the 2012 London Olympics.
- Chris Debney (Modelmaker and Director, Freelance), will discuss a range of projects where 3ds Max has offered him extensive creative freedom.
- Pixomondo (International VFX company), presenting their work on Oscar winning feature film Hugo and the recently released live action feature from Lucas Films, Red Tails.
