Earlier this month the Evening Standard compiled a list celebrating some of the top most influential creative figures in London. Inspired by the opening ceremony for this year’s London Olympics, which brought together an incredible pool of talent for a spectacular event, the Evening Standard took this opportunity to acknowledge the “fantastic cauldron of creativity” that exists in England's capital.
Among the names was none other than Adam Gascoyne, Co-Founder and Creative Lead of Union VFX. Recognised for his work in feature film visual effects and his collaboration with Artistic Director Danny Boyle for the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, we’re delighted to see Adam on this list, and congratulate him and Union VFX on this great honour that covers individuals from across a range of creative industries.
In response to this recognition, Adam explains, “to be in such esteemed company in this list is a real honour. I’d like to think that this mention represents all of the Union crew who dedicated so much to help make the films for the Opening Ceremony so special – and for continuing to rise to new creative challenges every day for all our feature film projects.”
So a massive congratulations to Adam and all the team at Union, who are currently working on Danny Boyle’s upcoming feature film Trance.
