3DBOXX 8550 is the Editor’s Choice

BOXX’s flagship machine has again wooed the reviewers, this time picking up the Editor’s Choice award from 3D Professor.

The 3DBOXX 8550 underwent a series of synthetic tests for everything a CG artist could ask of it, including CPU performance, multimedia capability, system cryptography and system memory bandwidth tests. It’s one of the most intense tests the workstation has been put through, but it didn’t disappoint and passed with flying colours. Here, Professor Brian Robinson sums up his thoughts on the 8550:

"The Boston 3DBOXX 8550 Xtreme comes as a neatly well laid out system with plenty of room for future expansion, an important factor in today’s demanding environment. If one is looking for the fastest system around that meets your critical success factors in expediting extreme productivity output for those demanding clients; then look no further as the BOXX 3DBOXX 8550 Xtreme from Boston completely surpasses those requirements… A well deserved Editors Choice."
