Those among you that are uber-observant may have noticed a blog post on our UK site entitled 23 MARI Tips In 23 Days on Twitter that was posted just yesterday.
On Monday, September 5, we started tweeting tips on how to best use MARI. For those of you that are familiar with MARI, you know it’s fairly new software that’s efficient and adaptable. Because this tool has all kinds of “hidden talents” we thought we’d give you some new insights into its inner workings so you can get maximum benefit out of the less obvious tools. Henry South, lead texture artist at Framestore, will lend us his expertise by sharing his top tips—23 to be exact.
Just so you know, Henry South has worked on titles such as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, XMen: First Class, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Chronicles of Narnia; The Voyage of the Dawn Treader… That’s a pretty impressive list and that’s exactly where he’s perfected his use of MARI.
