1000 frames per second in full HD? Now that's a camera!

Wowzers, check out this amazing camera system devised by the University of Tokyo, by using two small independent mirrors this camera is able to track and stabilize images at 1000 frames per second in full HD.

Instead of a camera, a projector can be attached and images can be projected onto fast moving objects, which is great for Augmented Reality (AR) applications that are sure to be used by the masses in the not so distant future!
